Raku

Here is a good site about to the raku process. Check it out. There is a list of frequenly asked questions that may be helpful for you as begin to explore the process. We can fire the raku kiln anyday (weather permiting) that you want, just please make sure that your pieces are glazed ahead of time so that you are ready to go at the start of class. Everyone of you must raku at least one piece at sometime during the first semester. http://www.ceramicstoday.com/articles/branfman_raku.htm

Check out the AP 3D Official Site

Please explore the AP3D site to help answer questions that you have and draw inspiration from what other students have done from around the country. Some students have found it particularly helpful to look at the "student samples and scoring guidelines" from previous years. This will help you gain a better understanding of what the judges are looking for.
